Stem Cell Research

Stem cell research has the potential for myriad beneficial uses to aid ailing patients that, as of now, have no hope but that death will come quickly and painlessly. I agree that stem cell research is needed and should go forward; however, this development should not be at the cost of a human embryo. Human life is precious and until we can find a way to harvest stem cells without using human embryos, I do not feel the ends justify the means. See this CNN Article.
